Hi all,
I had recently decided to take the GMAT exam. For the last two weeks, I studied a bit of both Quant and Verbal.
And today, I took the first free mock test of the GMATPrep Software.
My score - 680
Quant - 50 (26 c, 11 w) (63 Minutes / 75)
Verbal - 31 (27c, 14 w) (68 Minutes / 75)
I reviewed the answers again, and I saw that I made very stupid silly mistakes in 06 of the 11 quant questions. I mean I even knew the answers to them. Other 05 I didn't know.
PS - 06 wrong (Out of 19q) (Silly stupid mistakes in 04)
DS - 05 wrong (Out of 18q) (Silly stupid mistakes in 02)
And I am very worried about the Verbal part.
SC - 06 wrong (Out of 17q)
CR - 05 wrong (Out of 11q)
RC - 03 wrong (Out of 13q)
Wrong Quant Qs - 4, 8, 15, 16, 20, 22, 25, 26, 28, 33, 34 (02 Wrong in first 10)
Wrong Verbal Qs - 1, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 36, 39, 41 (04 Wrong in first 10)
I clearly need to improve further in SC and CR.
Which is the best book for SC? Theory understanding and practice?
I want to improve from the current 680 to a minimum of 730. (50 Points)
So, I was researching a bit, I think my score should be around Q50, V40.
Mission - Improve Verbal from 31 to 40! :D

Can't we read the detailed solutions on the GMATPrep Mock tests? I can't seem to find them anywhere.
My GMAT exam is on March 10, 2018. I have exactly one month left. :/

IMO you need improvement in both SC and CR.
The MGMAT books are the best for both SC and CR. Alternatively, for CR you can also refer to the Powerscore CR, which is also good.
