Hi i took gmatprep practice exam 1 today. I have following 2 queries
1. When i was answering every question, test platform asked me to confirm every answer with yes. I had to click yes after marking answer choice to every question. Does real gmat platform also asks the test taker to do that.
2. After confirming answer with yes, platform was taking time to move to next question. Time lag to move to next question was so that i could read the whole question again without answer choices. Is it same with every one or i have experienced something u usual.

1. Yes.
2. You shouldn't face such issues if you're taking the GMAT at a test center. Unfortunately, it is possible that you'll see similar lag during the online GMAT.

To answer your immediate question: YES - the "click YES to confirm your answer" functionality is something that you will see when you take the Official GMAT (it's essentially there as a stop-gap against someone claiming that they accidentally chose an answer when they intended to choose a different answer). As AjiteshArun pointed out, if you take the GMAT at a Test Center, then the next question in each section should appear immediately after you finish answering the question that you're on. A number of GMATers who've taken the At-home version of the Exam have reported that they experienced a significant 'lag' between questions though.
Before I can offer you any additional advice for your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
Studies:
1) How did you score on this first CAT/mock (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?
2) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
3) What study materials have you used so far?
Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
