Hi friends
A lot of students had reached out to me seeking help with the correct thought process needed to solve geometry questions.
My take is the following:
1) Be comfortable with various shapes and figures and their properties.
2) Identify what is asked out of you and what would you need to get there. This is what I call the intermediary information between what is given and what is asked.
3) See how can you get the intermediary information from what is given in the question stem.
4) Don't shoot in the dark: Don't start using the stated information in the question to solve for random things. With this approach, sometimes you will get the answer, sometimes not. Even if you do, a lot of time will be wasted as there was no structured approach followed.
