Hi all,
Im from india with a business degree background. I scored a 650 in the GMAT and am planning to apply for this september intakes for MIM in top schools. Should I be sitting for another GMAT?
I feel its too late and I am not really sure if ill be able to get that 40-50 point improvement
For context, I'm giving a brief profile overview
I have done 4 internships in total
been part of 2 NGOs
I'm a partner in a hospitality firm
My current GPA is 7, I have 2 semesters left. So, i think can get that up to 7.3-7.5.
I started a website with my brother to help people with plasma needs during covid and helped over 30 patients.
This is a lumpsum.
Will appreciate a reply.

We are always supportive of folks retaking the GMAT so long as they can find time and the finances to make it happen.
It sounds like that's either not a real option for you or not one that's really worth your efforts. If that's the case, your only two options are:
(1) Apply with 650 and make sure you hedge your MIM program list accordingly.
(2) Wait until next application season and retake the GMAT after ample time and studying.
If you don't think you'll improve even with time and studying, then go with 1 and hope for the best!

Hello ak2121,
Thanks for writing in.
It is definitely late for you to improve your score if you are targetting this Fall intake. Therefore, if you are extremely keen on applying this year, you must go ahead. Of course, if you have the luxury of waiting, then you may want to improve your score and apply next year.
