Hi all, I gave the GMAT FE yesterday and scored an abysmal 595 (Q78, DI80, V81). This is way below what I was scoring in my Official Mocks which was between 635 and 675 with 645 and above in 5 of them. I particularly identified some problems with my attempt. Firstly, I couldnt sleep the night before at all, verbal was my strong point in almost all the mocks where I was scoring somewhere bw 82-85. The major reason I identified is that I got overwhelmed under pressure during quant and lost my cool and messed up the whole section. I usually made 4-5 mistakes in quant in the mocks but in the main test I made 8 mistakes which was very dissapointing. I dont think the problem was with my concepts. I think I can do better if I retake and manage my time well. I was planning to retake in the next 20 days and in that time period, I am planning to give
experts global mocks to get comfortable with unexpected quant questions incase I see them on the test day. This was my second attempt, I had given the first one in June where I scored 660 (once again hadn't slept through the night). I know I am capable of scoring more than this and feel extremely disheartened that all my efforts went in vain. Please let me know what else I can do in these few days and if 20 days is enough for a retake. I am not planning to give the gmat again after my third attempt, it has affected my confidence enough and I want to get it over with.
