shubh103 - I would need more data to give any meaningful inputs. You may PM the same to me. I don't want to point you to a generic article like the one below :).

or the one below

Your ESR indicates you spent an average of 22 seconds per question on the last 9 questions of the verbal section.

A lot of people (especially those who aren't native English speakers) struggle with the time constraints of the Verbal section. If you consistently run out of time on the Verbal section, I suggest you look for certain questions to guess and skip. For example, if you find Assumption CR questions particularly difficult, you might skip any of these you encounter. Or you might consider skipping 2 or 3 CR questions that have exceptionally long passages. By building in some (3 to 6) difficult questions to skip, you may have enough time to get through all of the RC passages.

Keep in mind that the GMAT scoring algorithm severely punishes you we're getting easy questions wrong (more here: https://www.gmatprepnow.com/articles/gm ... -algorithm), so you want to make sure tht you have every opportunity to answer every easy questions

Which mock did you give ? Also for verbal did you review while solving OG questions ... It's very important to know reason why an option is wrong than just getting right answer...

Hi shubh103,

I'm sorry to hear that Test Day didn't go as well as planned. When these types of score drops occur, the two likely "causes" involve either something that was unrealistic during practice or something that was surprising (or not accounted for) on Test Day. Before we discuss any of those potential issues though - as well as the data in your ESR - it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

1) Did you use any other study materials besides the books that you listed? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
2) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
3) What is your overall goal score?
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

Your ESR shows a rushed 4th Quarter for both Quant and Verbal. Using time markers may be helpful. For Verbal, consider also working with a study buddy. Probably fair to say there may be fundamentals that are still slippery. There's an idiom Excel list for Sentence Correction on the GMAT Knight blog you might find helpful too.
