kamali18ks - some thoughts/ clarifications:

1. Which universities were your Bachelor's/ Master's (Tier-1/2 etc.) in, and how were the grades?

2. The composite GMAT score sounds alright, and can help compensate for the sectional splits, as long as your work-ex and overall narrative are robust. For example, this candidate got into INSEAD with a 655 GFE (skewed more towards Quant). Having said that, if you believe you can improve your score, you should- it's always advisable to put your best foot forward!

3. What are your career goals post MBA? The selection of schools, and the overall narrative would depend on this, and how/ why an MBA fits in at this juncture in your career. I'd also like to understand your work-ex in more detail, to assess the strength of the professional arc.

Feel free to reach out for a deeper chat.

Hi, I gave gmat focus edition exam yesterday. I got

Total: 685 (96th percentile)

Quant: 83 (81 percentile)
Verval: 83 (86 percentile)
DI: 86 (99 percentile)

I am worried that this overall score especially my quant score is not good for top b schools like INSEAD, MICHIGAN ROSS.

For my education and profession, I have bachelor's degree in Agriculture, masters's degree in Agriculture biotechnology. I am working as research scholar for the past four years, with 5 international research publications

International experience: I have been on student exchange program for learning agricultural technology in France (3 months).

Please share your thoughts, should I retake the exam and if so, what should be my target?
