Hi Everyone,
I gave my 3rd gmat attempt today and got a poor score 590(Q47,V25,IR 3).My score has been plateauing. My first attempt was in November last year and I scored 590(V32,Q39,IR 4).In my second attempt I scored a 580(Q45,V25) earlier this year.I have a engineering background and I am pretty comfortable with Quant.I feel I can push it to 49.I think the
GMAT club tests have of great help.I am also using
Magoosh and advanced Manhattan Quant.
I am also registered on e-gmat but I not have taken the course properly. My major issue is with stamina and mental fatigue. As I go into second section I am very exhausted.I feel whichever section I can do first,I have a advantage and I dont think I am particularly weak in either section.
Also the most important part I want to discuss is timing.I am never able to finish the exam on time.Never.In Quant I can complete about 24/31 questions on time and put B on all the rest in the last minute.I guess my score drops badly from there. Its worse with verbal.I can complete about 26/36 questions on verbal and then again the rest I guess by putting B again.Has anyone encountered the timing issues on GMAT?How did you fix it?How do you improve on timing?I think this is my biggest weakness rather than conceptual clarity on verbal.
