But if it helps @GMATclub, think I should give it a try. Hope your intention was to help!

Sometimes study groups help, but sometimes its a huge inefficient waste of time. I remember back in Uni trying to prep for a tough math course was difficult especially as different people would be weak in different areas. Some definitely found more utility in study groups than others.

Depends on your style. Make sure to quantify your progress and don't be reluctant to pull the plug if progress is worse than studying alone.
