Hi, is coordinate geometry not included in the gmat focus edition ( how much %?)? I don't see it on the graph.
Yes, it is - it is called Functions on the GMAT, so we use the more GMAT-like terminology, also lots of newbs get their undies bunched up when they see the word geometry. However, even regular geometry concepts are still somewhat present on the GMAT - e.g. the concept of area, volume, perimeter and surface are still used to test other concept on the GMAT, e.g. you may get a word problem or probability question that uses area for example. There are a few of those on the GMAT prep and in the latest OG.
In the end, they moved things around, but they remained almost the same as the Classic GMAT.
Who spent hundreds of bucks to buy books suitable for the old version? They are still useful for the new one, but SC/Geometry.
I would not say they did not work hard to upgrade an exam and align it to a different business world. However, at the core, the song remains the same.
