Guys who have taken GMAT from Bangalore : Can you please share your experience regarding the GMAT test centers here ? Looking to book a center soon.

Guys who have taken GMAT from Bangalore : Can you please share your experience regarding the GMAT test centers here ? Looking to book a center soon.

Try to take the exam at one of the two Pearson Professional centers in Bangalore. I think the the Dickenson Road center is pretty well run. I've heard good things about the Central Street center too, though I haven't seen it personally. Avoid the other centers if you can.

You could search for existing threads (focus on the more recent ones). There are some reviews there, like this one (and a few more in the same thread). As for visiting the center, there is no harm in calling them up and asking whether they'll let you inside a few days before your exam, but at the Dickenson Road center for example, they won't even allow you through the main door if you don't have an appointment for the GMAT or one of the other exams that Pearson delivers.

You should be fine as long as you can get one of the Pearson Professional centers. It's not as if I don't get any negative feedback at all about those centers, but you are just (far) more likely to face issues at one of the smaller centers.

Hi Adi88,

Pearson Professional Centers are usually quite good. Booking a slot at a PPC doesn't guarantee a smooth experience, but I receive (significantly) less negative feedback from students about those centers than I do about centers not directly run by Pearson.

I hope one of the other forum members can give you their take on the noise issue. I was given one of those industrial-type ear muffs at the Dickenson Road center in Bangalore, and it worked too well. That is, I could hear nothing. That, and the fact that they were very tight, took a little getting used to. I may ask them for ear plugs next time. :)
