Hi. Unfortunately the 16 day waiting period has been implemented for both online and test center exams starting this Spring.

The policy change was not officially announced but sometime in the spring we lost ability to mix and match the test so now it doesn’t matter which format of the test you take, you will have to wait 16 days until you can take either format.

I think the only exception would be taking classic versus focus version of the test… will be running in parallel from November 8 through January 31 but that is my assumption and those are two different animals to mix and match.

Hi Everyone,

I've read a couple of posts and am still not clear on the waiting time between two attempts. So posting this to get clarity and hopefully help others having the same question.

What I know:
1. There has to be a 16 day waiting period between two GMAT attempts at the test centre.
2. However, this 16 day waiting period need not be observed if you attempt GMAT online after the GMAT test centre attempt or vice-versa.

Question:
If you give GMAT at the test centre on 3-November-2023, then the next test centre attempt can only be after 19-November-2023 (16 day waiting period). Let's say you give your next attempt online on 15-November-2023 (16 day waiting period does not apply).
When can you schedule your next test centre attempt ? When can you schedule your next online attempt ?

Thanks!
