Haha, they trapped you with TPA. Compensated.

Anyways keep the momentum and all the best for the next attempt. After Mocks you can take feedback from qualified people here, who had score well in the recent past. I do the same.

What is the best strategy to take this adaptive test?
Like I was told a trick, to enhance your score, make the question you know correctly as wrong and add it to the review so that the next question is easier. Do such tricks help? If yes - what other ways help?
Do not do this at all
I thought doing hard ones at last would help but if they you don’t get more hard ones correct it won’t increase your score

Noo... It is not a good approach because gmat penalty for answering easy questions wrong is very high

Just try to answer questions best of your ability and make sure you don't spend too much time on question ideally 3 min max.

Easy questions will not fetch you high scores. Its not just about answering many questions (as all questions are not marked equally in a adaptive test). Adaptive test is all about getting especially the first few correct so you get the “opportunity” to tackle hard question which gives you better score.

Infact people get worried if progressively they see they can easily answer questions on gmat as that would kinda mean you have been wrong in the first few, reducing your chance of high score and only getting easy questions.

Any suggestions for change in pattern..? This is my confidence level quant > di > v

This is the silliest advice someone can give. The person giving this advice assumes that you wil nail rest of the questions 100%. If by chance you get one wrong trying this your score will fall as low as Q84

Suppose you marked first 3 asnwers WRONG intentionally, definitely the next set of questions will be easy and you can edit these 3 answers at the end of the section. But, you are playing a gamble here. You encountered one wrong in the next 18 questions you’re gone in Quant

I think you shall try DQV order.

I think it could be both depending on what role it plays
