Been there.
It’s because of Newton’s law of inertia. You are probably not getting in the flow and have to get mentally prepared to get it in momentum.
It goes away with time. But initially, I think you should try abruptly switching between tasks in geberal to be prepared for something like this. Or the simplest thing I used to try is to just do soft reading before starting

usually happens during first question of any section, will try do some warm up questions and practice between timed sets and other tasks t o train my brain, thanks guys
