Walker what language did u use to write this? If I have free time this year (after GMAT and applications), I might look into a java app for mobile phones. So people can practice SC and CR on the go (the rest require more screen realestate and pen and paper).

Good idea!
+1

I used CodeGear(Delphi). It seems not help you :(

Walker I see you mention the timer is for XP - does that mean it won't run on Vista, or is it worth giving it a shot? cheers.

I don't know. I've not tested the timer on Vista. If somebody has such experience, please, post your response here.

Hi Walker
Can you make the timer countdown rather than count up.
Countdown would simulate the actual exam ..
Just a suggestion

Us Linux users barely read RAR files, and EXE files of course... But thanks. Let me install a Windows emulator (WINE), maybe your program would run on top of it.

Firstly, WINE is not a windows emulator.... that's what it stands for (Wine Is Not an Emulator) )) -
Quote:
"Wine is a translation layer (a program loader) capable of running Windows applications on Linux and other POSIX compatible operating systems. Windows programs running in Wine act as native programs would, running without the performance or memory usage penalties of an emulator, with a similar look and feel to other applications on your desktop."

Secondly, just wanted to let all non-windows users know that GMAT timer runs perfectly on Wine (and it's polished paid version - Crossover)

Wine is free and Mac Users can load it here

Linux users I assume know all about wine anyway, if not I'll gladly provide help.)))

Hi Walker,

Thanks for the timer. Gr8 work.

can you give a option to enter the total number of questions and make the timer work accordingly (in quant and verbal both) .

a small suggestion :-D

Thanks for suggestion!

I don't have Delphi on my computer to do that but I have iPhone SDK and am going to use your idea for iPhone Timer.
