Re: GMAT timer [#permalink]
Excellent tool! Since I started studying, I always try to simulate the real test by alotting myself ~2mins for Quant. questions a a little less for verbal. Typically I use my cell phone digital stopwatch, but this is MUCH BETTER.

I'm definitely not an expert, nor have I taken the GMAT yet, but in my opinion, it's recommendable to always time yourself when working on practice questions, and then review.

Thanks for the tool!!!

Hi Vijayachig,

I haven't updated the Timer since 2007 and it worked well for many people. So maybe your system doesn't support system calls I used...

Hi walker, I noticed that the data of the time does not export nicely to excel, it puts all three pieces of data in the same cell (Question, Answer and Time).
Is there anyway to separate the data (like csv) such that it pastes nicely in Excel?
Thanks, Sandro

You can save them as txt file and then open in Excel with "space" separation.

I use this timer .. It does a fair job and good it does not have hot keys just like in real exam. so we get a more realistic time on how we pace during practice using the touchpad / mouse.

Thanks a lot. The GMAT timer (1st one) is extremely helpful. Does anyone know of any online timers that allow you to pick an answer and record per question time similar to the first timer?
