Why did you only study sentence correction? Are you good in critical reasoning and reading comprehension or why only sentence correction?

Do you mean you completed the verbal or just the sentence correction? Your reply does not make it clear....

I have completed modules of sc, Cr in egmat
But for RC I kept practicing OG and experts gmat. Because for RC I thought it’s all about understanding the passage, RC isn’t related to practicing concepts.

However, even after completing SC modules while I was giving the exams or even mocks I was guessing a lot. What I am trying to say I wasn’t confident on my answers even on SC.

I am not blaming Egmat, it’s a great resource but may be not fit for me. That’s why I was looking for suggestions on how I can confidently score V36+ even under pressure.

One of my major problem is timing in Verbal, I had to guess (consistently both in mock and actual gmat) 4-5 questions (which I did in between like 11, 21, 26, 31, and one at the end). If I take the exam without time pressure accuracy increases.

However, in real exam I felt that I had a brain freeze in verbal which happened in quant also in the beginning also but later I overcame this.

I am planning to take manhattan or veritas online classes, do you have any idea on those? Also would like to hear any other suggestion

Hi sadekmshowkat,

I’m sorry to hear how things went with your GMAT. Regarding verbal resources, take a look at the GMAT Club reviews for verbal courses and also check out some GMAT success stories to see what materials have worked well for other test-takers.

Also, would you like some general advice on how to improve your verbal skills?

You also may find my it helpful to read this article about
how to score a 700+ on the GMAT.

Good luck!
