1. none of the M7s offer a GMAT waiver
2. I can speak of my own applicant who applied to 5 programs with a GMAT waiver (Ross, Darden, Tepper, Foster, Cornell) and got admission into all 5 with scholarships. We heavily focused on their analytical experience and leadership stories (both at work and in volunteering initiatives)
3. My applicant received scholarships, so I wont say it impacted the scholarship decision. That said, you need to present solid applications.
4. You should apply at the earliest you can.
While a few applicants get admission with a GMAT waiver, my suggestion is that you take the GMAT/ GRE and then apply. You have a few months before deadlines hit, so why not? I feel its a big risk going the waiver route and its not worth taking this risk given how invested you would be in your application in terms of time, money, energy and emotions. If it doesn't yield positive outcomes, it will all be wasted effort.
Also, if you have the profile for making it into an M7, then why cut your chances short by not taking the GMAT?

Hi all,
Researching GMAT waiver availability across M7 and T15 US MBA programs, specifically for international applicants with engineering undergraduate degrees.Applying for 2027 intake.
Specific questions:
1. Do any M7 programs - HBS, Stanford, Wharton, Booth, Kellogg, MIT Sloan, Columbia - offer GMAT waivers for any applicant category? My research suggests most do not, but wanted to confirm from people who have applied recently.
2. For non-M7 programs that do offer waivers - has anyone with an Indian engineering undergraduate degree successfully received one? What was the key factor that made the case?
3. Does the waiver typically affect scholarship eligibility at schools where it is available?
4. For those who applied with a waiver - what is the right time in the application cycle to request it? Early in Round 1 or does it not matter?
5. Any schools in the T10/ T15 range I should be looking at that have waiver-friendly policies?
Would be happy to connect with who have been admitted through GMAT wavier.
Thanks in advance!
