yoonsiklim1: any update on GMATPill Verbal
Do you get access to
GMAT Club tests when you enroll for GMATPill Verbal only?
A quick update on the GMAT Pill program. I will write a more detailed review later but in summary, I would not recommend it for people who are scoring mid 600 and above. The videos give you a pretty good overview of the major concepts that you need to know for the GMAT, but if you're scoring mid 600 already, I don't think this would improve your score much. It does have some "700" level questions for practice, but you can get that from any prep materials (like the OG book for
manhattan GMAT). So, unless you're struggling to grasp the main concepts, you should not spend the money on this program. You can probably get one pill instead of buying all 5 and see if you'll like it, but personally, I was already scoring low 700s, and did not benefit by watching the GMAT Pill videos.
I tried to get a refund because I was not satisfied with the program, but since I scored a 730 on the real GMAT, I was ineligible for a refund. They put a cap on your "original" score that is used to calculate your improvement after purchasing the program. Even though I was scoring 710 and 720 on my practice tests, 680 was my original score, and by their definition, my score improved by 50 points. However, I just checked the refund conditions page for details, but could not find anything about 680.
I just emailed him a last request for the refund pointing that out, so I'll update on how that goes.
