Hi rajechP,

IR prompts always involve a certain amount of 'data' (charts, tables, statements, etc.), and the questions are essentially about finding/defining patterns (or the lack of a pattern) in that data. The prompts themselves tend to be 'situational' (re. based around a set of circumstances), so you can't really think about the 'subject matter' in the same way that you would when dealing with Reading Comp. The prompt defines the situation and gives you data to work with - your job is to search through the data to answer the question(s) that are asked.
