Hi rajechP,
The IR questions that are available from GMAC are the most realistic IR prompts available. The 'relative difficulty' is based somewhat on your abilities (and the types of questions that you are more comfortable with) and the 12 random prompts that you'll see on Test Day. So you might find that the IR questions that you face on Test Day are 'easier' or 'harder.' It is highly unlikely that the questions would be "much harder" though.
With enough practice, you'll find that IR questions have far more in common with CR than with Quant (in general). While you will do some calculations in the IR section, most of what you're tested on is your ability to logically "connect ideas." If you're taking decent notes, you'll find that most IR questions just about having a clear understanding of what the question specifically asks for and your ability to find the necessary information.
