Hi
EGMAT Expert,
Today I attempted the GMAT prep - Practice Exam 3. I got the following question. I tried to solve it using
EGMAT 3 step approach, but couldn't do

.
The contractor and the engineer agree on the cause of the bridge failure, but both blame the other.
a]both blame the other
b]each blames the other
c]each blame the other person
d]both are blaming the other
e]each blames one another
My Analysis
Meaning : The contractor and the engineer agree on the cause of the bridge failure, but both are blaming on each other.
a) it should be both blame each other
b) each blames the other - Seems Correct
c) it sounds like each one of them is blaming some third person
d) it should be both are blaming each other
e) each blames one another - Seems Correct
I found it difficult to eliminate between b) and e).
Kindly help me in understanding the reasoning for the correct answer choice.
Thanks
Sahil
