Hello, I have completed my GMAC mock tests 1 to 4 and I am saving 5 and 6 for the final leg (last week before exam). I want to solve GMAT prep question bank available on the forum.

Can anyone suggest me whether this causes any repetition of question during my Mock 5 ad 6?

Thanks.

Kiran123321abc

Do check for gmatclub links where experts have clearly mentioned that the question bank for 1 to 4 is big(1 and 2 biggest) compared to 5 and 6. So use it wisely.

Hello Kiran

Just try not to practice GMAT Prep questions having tags EP1 and EP2, BUT still there is no surety that you will not face questions from exam 5 and 6. Chances are there that you score in exams 5 and 6 can inflate.

Thank you sajjad for the information. I have 10 full days to go for the exam. I was saving those prep questions for the final leg and also those Mock tests 5 and 6 to get hold of the exam pacing. Can you suggest a way to utilize both these resource.

10 Days are not a big gap, you are almost in the last week of your exam, take Test 5 within 2 days, analyze it and see where you got wrong questions then try to overcome those shortcomings in next 5-6 days and then take exam 6 2-3 days before exam for final touch. Rest the whole day before D-Day. Get a good diet and sleep.

Best of luck

Hi Kiran123321abc,

Many Test Takers face pacing issues in the Quant section, the Verbal section or both - but it's important to remember that pacing problems do NOT exist on their own - they're the results of OTHER problems. If you currently have pacing issues, then 10 days might not be enough time to properly 'fix' those issues. If you're not close to your Score Goal on your practice CATs yet, then you might want to consider pushing back your Test Date.

Before I can offer you any additional advice for your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) On what dates did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
6) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
