Gave the GMAT a couple of days ago. Got 700( Q49, V37).
The RCs were horrible, and I am not kidding. After doing so many practice RCs I was confident about them and knew the basic approach to conquer them. One needs to see the bigger picture and understand the relationship described in the passage.
Also I thought that having not such a good enough vocab would not be a mojor problem on the GMAT. This is where I was wrong.
Some of the most important words in the passage were really difficult to comprehend. And these words were the most important words of the passage as they were the relationship defining words of the passage.
As an example one statement was " The XXX of the factors is leading to this cause" XXX=really tough word( not sure if I am allowed to post the exact word)
I could not understand the word and this really hurt me. Tried to make out by reading the whole passage but could not. And faced such a situation twice!!!!!!
I came back and asked a friend of mine preparing for the GRE and even he had no clue about 1 of the words I mentioned.
