Hi All,
A bit about me: I am a native English speaker who took the GMAT last year in March and am looking to retake it in the near future.
My first time around I got a 650 (Q42, V37) after spending about 100 hours studying. I was very disappointed with my score, especially after the significant effort I put in, but now think that I was studying incorrectly. I recently went through the
Manhattan Prep Foundations of Math book, and have just purchased the All the Quant book.
I've taken two recent official practice tests:
1. May 21 2020: 640 (Q39, V38) - before reading the Manhattan FoM book
2. June 20 2020: 610 (Q42, V32) - after reading Manhattan FoM book
Not sure why I had so much variability in my verbal score, but my weakest area is by far sentence correction. My current plan is to complete the entire
Manhattan prep quant book, then practice questions through the official guide.
Does anybody have any suggestions on how I should proceed with my preparation? I am targeting an early September test date.
Thank you!
