Hi,
I got the admit from Wisconsin Business school for their Operations and Technology MBA. I was waitlisted and eventually rejected from Cornell Tech's Tech MBA program. Should I take the current offer and move on or should I re apply to Cornell Tech for next year's program.
My profile: 7 plus years of experience in Information technology with 4 plus years of product development experience and 3 plus years of consulting experience in the USA.
Goal: To get into technology company as a Product Manager.
Thanks,
VB
Hi VB,
I have read the complete discussion on this thread, so will give my advice with that in consideration.
I'd suggest that if you are already in the US, you can apply to both FT as well as exec MBA programs. It makes sense to give up the Wisconsin admit if you are willing to apply to programs which are ranked higher than it. This includes Cornell Tech, but also do spread yourself more than just one program. NYU Stern has launched a one year Tech MBA this year - have a look at that as well.
A large number of b-schools can help you get into product management, so I don't see your options limited in any way. To give any detailed views however, I 'd need more details on your profile.
