Hello everyone, I recently received my AWA score, which came in at 3.5. I was hoping for at least a 4, so I’m considering challenging it. Has anyone here successfully challenged their score and received a better outcome? Also, what are the chances that my score could actually change? I understand from ETS that a review could either increase or decrease the score.

­The AWA at the end of the day is just a draft.

In a nutshell, it is not that difficult to impove

1) Reinstate the prompt and give whether you agree or not

2) At least two paragraphs with two specific reasons why agree or not and examples.

3) Reinstate the prompt and give conclusion remark

As for your specific question, to challenge their judgment, it would be just a waste of time 99.99999% of the time
