Hey,
So I have a good score on the GRE(Q:168), and have applied to a few schools with this. My questions being:
1. I've heard that some IBs and MBBs REQUIRE a GMAT score (especially a good IR score) and they shortlist candidates based on this. Is this true? Will not taking the GMAT affect my chances in securing an interview call from top IBs/MBBs? If I think I can do better than my converted GMAT score (710), should I take it anyway?
2. Do these IBs/MBBs accept GRE scores like most MBA schools these days? Is GMAT preferred in any way?
2. Are there any other benefits to giving GMAT after securing admission?
Would love to know people who're in MBBs/IBs, having experienced a similar situation.
Hey there!
Good questions!
1. It's true
2. You mean will they understand your score? Sure. Like everyone else. I would say the GMAT is preferred out of habit and knowledge of it, but not necessarily because of any fundamental reason.
Best,
Jon
