Hi Kabirr,

As long as your desired programs stated that they view each exam with equal importance, then it’s clear that you should take the GRE. That said, if you need any advice regarding your study plan, feel free to reach out. Also, you may find it helpful to read the following article:

Hi everyone, would love to have the opinion of you all and specially the experts with respect to GRE vs GMAT. I haven't been able to cross the 700 barrier on the GMAT where as I'm consistently scoring 90th percentile and above on the GRE. Should I shift to GRE? All my target schools accept both scores so that isn't a concern. But is it really true that behind the scenes these schools give the same weightage to both the exams or there is validity of an unsaid rule that GMAT>GRE?

I'm looking at Ox/Bridge/LBS/LSE/HEC for my MFin/MIM program and not an MBA.

Any feedback is appreciated -

Research the average GRE scores of accepted applicants at your schools, if that information is available. You'll most likely find that your GRE scores are more competitive than your GMAT scores, given what you've said here - and in that case, you should take the GRE.

However - are you talking about practice tests when you refer to 700 on the GMAT and 90th+ percentile on the GRE? And how far below 700 are you on the GMAT (690 vs 550 is a huge difference), and how far above 90th percentile on the GRE?
