Well, R3 admits just happened recently... their deposit deadline is July 6, 2007. I would thus imagine that you'll know around that time.

The email i received from the GSB adcom says JUNE 6th.... hopefully it's not a typo!

When will I hear from the committee about possible admission from the waitlist?

Unfortunately, we do not have a set answer to that question. We do not anticipate offering admission to anyone off the waitlist prior to June 6th, the deadline for Round 3 admitted students to deposit and accept our offer of admission. Our hope is to notify you of our final decision as early as possible. However, we may have an opening in the class late in the summer for those who have flexibility to start classes with little notice. If at some point you’d prefer to remove yourself from consideration, please simply email us and let us know.

I'm still trolling. Please post if you got in off the wait list. I've talked to a number of people that got in over the summer last year, including one that was admitted during his first week at Fuqua and made the switch. Hopefully at least one of you has gotten in by this time.

I'm trolling as well. This forum, the B week forum, and the GSB adcomm forums.

I'm STILL on the waitlist.

How many people do you know that got in this late in the game? And why would spots open up? I'm thinking with the high yield this year not too many spots will open up if any at all.

Sorry, I can't put a number on it. I met at least 4 on the day I interviewed at the school though. Someone probably has figures to cite.

I know of one person who just got admitted like a week and a half ago off the waitlist.

Million of reasons. Promotions at work, interesting/lucrative job offers, problems at family, admit offers recalls...

I wonder if that is through someone getting a person kicked out of the class of 09? Perhaps?!

It certainly entered my mind as well. The timing seemed a bit too exact - the guy was kicked out right around the same time she was admitted. If I was her, I would have asked. Would have been curious to know if she was Matin Sedigh's replacement.

Nada.

The GSB said they would give us some 411 on what's going on, but no word yet.

The Bweek thread is dead too. There's only 3 or 4 people actively posting.

Rhyme, have you heard anything?
