Guys please suggest me a good course for Verbal. I have given gmat twice and both of the times I have scored low in verbal section.
GMAT1- Q48 v30
GMAT2 - Q49 V30
Please suggest me a course that is best in Verbal section. I really need ur help guys. I need to clear the gmat this year itself as I want to apply this year.
The best way to find out about a course is by reading the reviews of the people who have already take the course.
You can find the reviews here:
https://gmatclub.com/reviews/gmat_courses?fl=menuMy advice would be biased. You can try our course for free and can even schedule an hour with our tutor if you feel the need of tutoring.
The course comes with a 50 point score increase or money back guarantee. And we are sure that you would not need to claim the refund.
Coming to your previous 2 attempts:
1. Which preparatory course/book did you follow?
2. What were your scores in the mock CATs? Did you give the mock along with the AWA and the IR secitons?
3. Did you complete the OG and the Verbal review?
4. What is your target score?
In order to improve on the verbal section, you need to drill down deep and identify your pain areas:
SC: The questions test various concepts such as S-V agreement, modifiers, parallelism etc. Find out what troubles you.
CR: There might be certain types of questions that are troubling you. May be Assumption, may be conclusion, inference etc.
You need to find that out and then practice them
RC: This again can be drilled down into different types of questions and also different topics. See what questions and topics trouble you the most and then practice accordingly.
As an addition, start preparing an
error log and keep a note of all the mistakes you made and the lessons you learnt from the problems. This will ensure you do not make the same mistake again.
