Hey guys,

A little late. Actually a lot late but I got dinged in R1. Congrats to those who got in.

I am planning to apply for Fall 2014 now.

Since getting dinged I have started up my own e-commerce venture https://www.laptopskinvault.com (Shameless plug: check it out if you get the chance) and it is going great.

So all those who are fretting over getting in or not don't worry. While B-school will help you it is not the end of the world just be positive.

All the best to those who got in and those who don't. Just remember it is not the end of the world.

Hi guys,
I interviewed on march 29 and my status sill says "invited for interview". Do you think should check with the admissions that everything's ok? Is it supposed to go back to under review before they make he final decision?

I called the admissions and they said that it might not change from invited to interview until a final decision will be rendered. The lady I spoke with said that it depends on timing issues... I am not sure what that means and if I should read into that comment too much. I guess I will just have to wait and see what happens.
When are they supposed to start making the calls?

My status for Invited to Interview has disappeared. Its just Application Under Review.

Dont know what it means!!

When do you think Berkeley will start making calls. In previous two rounds they started making calls from monday on the decision week. I think they will start making calls from today

No, no way majority of calls have already gone... but we're round 3 applicants, and that could be like a "round 2.5" compared to other schools.
I believe the amount of places available must be low... that is all I meant.
Tough to get called.
But of course, I hope we all get in.
