This is the 2nd time I didn't get accepted....

The question is:
- Go to USF (univ of San Fran) this year
or
- Wait and try again next year for both Haas and USF

Ugh...such a heart-breaker. It feels like putting this on hold for another year is a big ask.

About me:
15 years HR experience
Good Verbal/Essay score; not so great quant score
berkeley undergrad in Psych
excellent life experiences (think other side of the tracks)
last 8 years have been stellar
community service
family man
athlete
excellent networker and communicator
currently heading up talent acquisition for one of the fastest growing companies in the nation

Good luck to all those who made it :) Hang in there for those who didn't. They say whatever happens is exactly the way it was supposed to happen...

Congratulations to all the admits!
For folks who are in the same boat as me (dinged from Haas), are any one waiting on or planning to attend UC Davis Bay area program this year ?
Can you please post your updates about the admission for Davis here ...

It truly is March all over again for me....WAITLISTED AGAIN!!!

I guess it's better than an outright ding, but IMO a WL at this point is roughly as good as a ding.

R1 applicant- got waitlisted again. Talk about frustration- cant plan anything for the summer. I hate this limbo state- this morning i woke up and prepared myself for Unable to offer admission. I truly thought i would make the most of summer- travel probably to Europe even though tickets are already **** expensive.

Now i need to decide between prepping for the stats exam and letting this be and stepping outdoors/

For all those waitlisted, its still better than a ding. I know it can be frustrating, I have been there for 6 months. Luckily, I had an admit from an equally awesome school so that helped ease my tension a bit.
Just hang in there - a little bit of luck and things can turn around.

Saw my status change online. Plan to attend the welcome event. For those who attended an older one - any idea how long this event lasts so that i can plan travel accordingly

Hi everyone,

Sorry for not updating sooner but I'm in! Got the call from Marjorie the other day, but it's been a hectic week at work and haven't posted about it. Congrats to all the admits, good luck to those still waitlisted, and keep your head up to those who got dinged. I was dinged by many programs too.

My application status has changed to "Admitted" and I received the congratulations email. All that's left now is a stats class to fulfill the requirement. To those who still need to take it, Foothill College offers an online course (Math 10) that satisfies the prereq and is a 6 week course from 6/11 - 7/20. It's only ~$200 for California residents.

Here's my profile:
- Round 3 applicant
- Electrical Engineer from a top UC School, subpar GPA < 3.0
- Excelled in UCB Extension classes for Project Management certificate
- 1 yr in the telecom industry, 2 years in LCD Startup, 4.5 years in Solar Startup
- GMAT 740 v45 q47
- Promoted 2.5 yrs ago from engineering role to project & program management role
- Great Extra-Curriculars (lots of Leadership roles) in college, not much since.
- Evening cohort
- Worked hard on essays, good recommendations

Best of luck for all who couldn't join and congrats to all who got the good news - hope to see you at school in the fall.

Hi bschoolapp8, would you mind telling me if you had accepted the offer from the other MBA School? I have been offered admission by HAAS but I had already accepted UC Davis offer a month ago as I didn't know what was going to happen with Haas. Can I rescind my yes from Davis & move on with Haas (as it was my first choice) or would it create any problems.?
Thanks.
