For the second essay, since it is tough to know the defining principle without reading the complete essay. Should we mention our choice or give a title to the essay? What do adcoms expect?

Essay question is:
At Berkeley-Haas, the following four Defining Principles describe our unique culture and are exemplified in our student body. Please list one of the following principles and give a specific example(s) of how you have exemplified this in your life. (250-500 words) Please refer to the Haas website for more detailed descriptions of these Defining Principles:
A. Question the Status Quo
B. Confidence Without Attitude
C. Students Always
D. Beyond Yourself

Actually, I just realized this is for the Evening and Weekend MBA. I was thinking you were inquiring about the Full Time MBA.

My two cents: I would just mention it in my introductory paragraph (eg. "I have exemplified "Students Always" by ....").

Good luck!
