still no calls today? It really seems that all admitted folks had been informed yesterday. The rest here ..........
Correct!
If the stats above are correct, they only admit Max 37.5 people (15% of 250) in R1. They had 3 people calling admits for 1.5 hour. More than enough to call all of them.

I think you are right. If they started calling at 9-10AM yesterday and began with out-state, then I am pretty they have more than enough time to call. Unless there are quite a few international ones, in which case the timing will be a little off and hard to predict since they could be from any time zone. though I don't think they would call the international ones.

I don't have the courage to sign in to check. I might have to ask someone to do the honor for me.

Do international candidates also apply for EWMBA?! Thats news to me! How do they manage? Fly on the international sector every weekend? :-D

Eh, it looks like flights are around $350 at the moment from mexico city to LAX. Not a whole lot more than SEA-OAK. I was figuring on spending $300/wk on airfare to get down to Berkeley.

Well, you'd be spending around $550 per week (including lodging and boarding) to get to Berkeley... Isn't it?
Why are you doing an MBA in that case? :)
Just kidding... :P

Same day flights. First flight of the day in, last flight out.

Even if I need to stay over friday night, there are a couple marriotts near berkeley with fairly cheap corporate rates. Worst case, I have more hotel points than I'm ever going to use.

I'm also sitting on ~500k frequent flier miles, which will pay for quite a few tickets anyways.

Just FYI, there is a NASH Hotel in downtown berkeley (10min walk from Haas), very cheap.

LOL... I called up the admissions office and they said they will be sending out emails to all the R1 applicants to check their online status. And, that is going to happen anytime before today. She said by End Of Today! The pain continues..........

Thanks. I was looking at a courtyard in oakland. I found a fairly cheap rate there and it's next to a bart stop. Worst case, I have friends in Oakland I can stay with should I need to.
