I have been practicing for GMAT for the past 6 months and I have attempted the official mocks. THe things is since I reset and re-attempted it tends to inflate my score. 2 months back I got 655 on one of the official mocks and I couldn't believe myself. Then I got experts global mocks since timing was a big pain for me - and started focusing on timing strategy. The mock made me discover few weak areas of concepts - and so I spent next 1.5 months hoping to improve my score - unfortunatley - no matter what I do my score is dipping:

I have been sincere taken leaves from office & have a center slot open on Wednesday 29th Oct. I am contemplating if I should book and go for it. My aim is to score atleast 645.

Including some of the specific areas/types of questions you find challenging could be helpful. For CR assumption questions, for example, the negation technique could be helpful to check out. In case you feel it takes you a bit of time to warm up when taking a mock/actual exam, doing a few questions beforehand may also help a bit (i.e. not letting the first questions you see on exam/mock day be those of the actual test).

I gave on official mock 5 today and surprisingly scored 695 - I don't know if this is luck or what - sharing snips below. I have not attempted the official mocks - as I never had any and previous scores were too poor. Plus if I re-attempted I sort of knew the answer - so defeated the purpose. Was it becuase my previous attempts were so poor that they threw easy questions this time?

If this was the first time you took test #5, then the 695 score should be a somewhat accurate reflection of your present GMAT skills.
