E. Leaving no historical record of their own, modernity Knows the Huns through theHistories of their enemies, who concurred numerous Germanic tribes in Europe and assaulted the Eastern Roman Empire.

Points to note..
1) Having left..of THEIR own...
This should modify HUNs so only C and D are left..
2) In C, the clause starting with ALTHOUGH is supposed to have the point of contrast and that is only ..
No historical record of their own..
Other two points talk about HUNs but are not in contrast so should not be in the Clause starting with ALTHOUGH..
conquered numerous.... and assualted the E.....

Hence D
