1. So can any of you tech/social media geniuses give us a count of all known 2+2 inter. invites on this and other board so far????
2. Can anyone w. access to the interview appointment software (eg. someone with an invite) count how many slots are taken, or is that system not open yet???
3. As to WL, to state the obvious, this is first year that 2+2 has had four admit rounds instead of ONE, sooooo, even HBS itself does not know how many more apps they are going to get moving over the next 3 rounds, thus they are holding back on some strong candidates to see what the level of interest is over the next 3 rounds. A lot of WL action will depend on both number and quality of those future apps, and no one really knows that. It could be a long wait because college seniors, which you are ALL are now, often apply in Round 3.
For the record, this is YEAR FOUR of 2+2: total admits in prior years are below
Year One=106
Year Two =115
Year Three=100
[not included are college seniors taken outside the 2+2 program in those years]
[hmmmm, you actually do need a weatherman to know which way the wind is blowing but my guess is, with the inclusion of Juniors and Seniors this year, total will still be in the 100-110 range--so a small number to begin with w. TOTAL INTERVIEW INVITES MAYBE 2X THAT.
Just guessing wildly here, and feel free to join me, total number of invites in Round One, e.g. the one just over, could be like 100, not all of whom, obviously, are on this or other boards.

I'm not sure what you mean by admits Sandy. But to answer your questions:
1. Three of us got invites. Myself, GooglePlus and another user who was on the chat the other day, but I don't know her user ID. Two others got waitlisted, it looks like.
2. The interview software link will be given to us on Monday, so we can take a look at that and see where we stand.
Transcendence: I tried to access that group but it says you need to be given permission to view it. Do you know the mod or someone? Or perhaps, can you link us to it (in case I'm looking at the wrong one)?

thanks, yeah, I meant invites to interview, not admits, dunno, that strikes me as low, even including kid fr. other forum and some other kids I know fr. my practice, but we are dealing with a universe where total invites could be 100 or less, ,soooooooo once again tyranny of small numbers in terms of making generalizations. All that said, I'm pretty jaded about HBS admissions, at this point, but, phew, they dinged and WL some impressive players. I am not sure if there is any new filter they are using (viz. hard science) or if at this point in the Darwinian evolution of applicants, many, many, many kids have evolved into high gpa/high gmat/high extra curric alpha-predator types.
