HBS 2+2

Question

im looking to apply for the hbs 2+2 course for which the last day is 1july. my application is in progress and well within time, but i am a liitle apprehensive about it. can you suggest a way to improve an application, or a checklist as such. even a generalised suggestion would be great..

Its hard to offer truly generic suggestions - make sure you are highlighting leadership qualities and experiences you've had, make it clear that you have a plan for your 2 years outside of undergrad, focus on writing a passionately convincing essay that outlines your goals, make sure you include why HBS is the right school, etc.

thanks, have discussed a lot about leadership and achievements, but not so much about my plan for the next 2 years. will include that in one of the essays.

Two of my friends were both accepted into the program last year. One was admitted last month off the waitlist, so if you don't get in the first time there's still hope. Although 2+2 emphasizes that they want non-business pursuits, if you have finance internships it's not a dealbreaker, since one of the two had multiple internships at BBs doing banking. I think the acceptance rate for the 2+2 program is pretty high relative to the regular pool, so I wish I had applied.

thanks a lot, i did not know about the waiting list provisions, it certainly makes a better acceptance rate.
