Results published for Round 5, interviews in these days (mine scheduled tomorrow).
Can someone please explain how does work the application for the 2nd year of the MiM (the specialisation year)?

FAQ on HEC website is the following "When do I apply for my specialisation?" "Students who do not wish to take advantage of the Gap Year will apply in the February of their first year of studies. Presentations of all the specializations will have been made in the December and January. Students who take advantage of the Gap Year will apply during this year".

So, if you want to continue with the specialisation in finance (basically the HEC Msc in International Finance), do you have to go trough another round of highly competitive selection (among HEC students or also external students?) or is only a "formal" application for reserving your seat in the course chosen?

took the interview today, usual questions.
how will HEC communicate its final decision (and usually how long does it take from the day of interview)? Deadline for round5 is 30th June

I’m applying for Round 5 too (probably a different program) and waiting for their contact.
I personally think it would take more time to receive the result as it’s the last round and the jury need to review the waitlisted applicants from previous rounds. So I expect to hear from them around 29th June.
