Hi
omkarkhanvilkar and (thank you for the tag @yashikaaggarwal):
If you have the choice, the MBA is a better degree. While the Msc. Strategy would be seemingly relevant for consulting, there's much more to consulting than just strategy. It is important to have an understanding of other disciplines such as operations, marketing, management, finance, etc. That's why the MBA is considered such a well-rounded, versatile degree and why the consulting firms have long valued it and recruited out of suc programs.
Additionally, as an MBA, you will have more infrastructure when it comes to clubs, activities, etc. in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry should you want to spend time outside of class focused on those spaces.
Lastly (though not only), the network will be larger and more impressive as the MBA is considered a more prestigious degree than the Msc. Strategy.
The downside to the MBA is that it might be longer to complete (is the Msc. Strategy les two years?) and thereby more expensive, but I would like to think the benefits outweigh the costs.
Hope that helps!
