Hi nofaceyet ..
I agree with you on the constraints and lottery system. Your unique industry will be a benefit. Do you have a GMAT score? If not, you need to get around 720.
INSEAD and LBS will be bit tough. Unfortunately, I do not know about entertainment industry and which schools could help you.

Yeah I already took my GMAT (700, Q47, V39, AWA5.5, LR8). Would you suggest I retake it even if I am aiming only HEC?

700 is a good score. Increase to 720 if you can. You can apply to Jan 21 intake. Link below -

Also, If someone knows, do we get access to the partner school's career services ? Or get a partial / full alumni status ?

Hi,

I am considering pursuing an MBA from HEC Paris and I am trying to understand how the international exchange program works. If there is anyone here who is from HEC Paris or knows more about it please respond.

The information on their website is very scant. They simply list the schools they partner with and say it is highly competitive but doesn't provide any more details.

I am trying to understand, what is the selection process like?

Can I choose the school I want or will it be chosen by the faculty/school admin?

What are the fees associated with it?

What courses can I take in the partner institution?

How useful is this program?

I am from Entertainment industry background, so the placements at HEC for this industry is not too great, so is doing the exchange program at NYU or USC (Both well known for these industries) useful in finding work in my industry after graduation?

Thank you!

Students come from a wide range of educational backgrounds for the HEC Paris MBA. During the application process, they take your professional background into consideration. They also want to see clear evidence of career progression over time, and proof that you have excelled in your current role. Located in Paris, the HEC MBA program attracts thousands of applications every year. The average HEC Paris acceptance rate stands at 18-20%. MBA applicants need to have an average GMAT score of 690.

International exchanges take place in the fall, winter or spring (depending on the intake) with various partner schools globally. Places in the exchange program are highly competitive and selective; around forty to fifty students participate every year.

We are pleased to inform you that we are hosting a webinar in association with the HEC Paris Admissions Team on 6th July 2022. Members of the admissions team and alumni will also be answering your questions at the end of the session. Feel free to attend by registering for the session below and clarify your doubts:
