Hi shruthiarvindh .. Did you applied in R1 for Jan intake? Would you mind sharing about you, your profile and goals? I believe that applicants are focused towards Sep intake. I hope, we will see more discussion here in upcoming weeks/months.

The main difference is that semesters 3 and 4 are flipped - I believe specializations are only offered once a year. The summer internship timing is also slightly different.

Thanks for the revert.. While I did note that the specialization for both batches would be together..Just curious if the placements would differ given the intakes are placed just 4 months apart

bschoolhunter .. I am not sure but here are some key differences which you can cross check with Adcoms- 1. Small Size in Jan intake 2. Phase 4 comes before phase 3 3. You must do Internship or exchange in Jan intake after finishing 12 months. So, you can continue your job/internship after 4 months because you have finished the MBA in 12 months 4. Choice of electives are more for Sep intake

Leadership - trying to understand...after 4 months, or "for" (for a duration of) 4 months. Or neither lol. Help.

Hi MBAPrepCoach .. Sorry, I wrote it in a confusing way What I know (might be not true) is that the phase of internship/exchange comes at the last quarter for the Jan intake. After students finish 12 months, they will have 4 months for internship/exchange. Let's say someone get an internship for 6 months, he/she can continue even if the allotted time is 4 months because he/she do not have to come back for the classes.
If you know more about it, let us know. I will confirm this Sunday on how it's working now.

Hello everyone. I am from New Delhi & I recently got an admit from HEC Paris MBA for January 2021 intake. I have work experience of 5+ years and I currently work as Executive Assistant to CEO & Senior Manager - Underwriting at AXA - India.
My work focuses on developing and implementing public health programs like Ayushman Bharat (popularly known as Modicare), along with other insurance businesses.
On my personal time, I play table-tennis & harmonica. I am very interested in Politics and I love to travel (have covered all Indian states sans north-east states, parts of Western Europe and south east Asia).
I am very excited that I have been given an opportunity to learn from and with the best minds in the world and I want to make the most of it.
PS - If anyone is in New Delhi, ping me. We can meet over a cup of coffee.

Hi MBAPrepCoach.. I am confirmed for the following: 1. Phase 4 comes before phase 3 for Jan intake 2. The specialization phase is done together for the Sep and Jan intake. 3. Once the students finish specialization phase in Jan intake, their MBA class sessions are over and they can take the internship of 6 months (ideally preferred time line - 6 months) 4. Sep intake students need to come back to class for specialization after the intership/ mba project (valid for 4 months) 5. Jan students have an advantage of getting longer duration of internship that might convert into a full time job offer
