Actually, since there are much fewer students in the Jan intake, it's far easier to go on exchange. The exchange selection process is done by HEC and requires applications for certain popular schools. I'm told the process is much more competitive for the September intake, which is about 165 students (not 200 like someone said previously).
So don't worry about that!

You are not alone! Waiting is killing me, too. Does anyone know, if the decision is supposed to be communicated on the exact date of the decision as in the school's admission calendar, or does HEC release some (usually admit) results 1-2 days before (like many American schools)?
