For SC & CR i referred MGMAT...my CR was fair enough right from the beginning i worked hard on SC and increasing the RC speed(intially i used to take some 20 mins to solve a passage with 75% accuracy)
I also did kaplan for Verbal...i really dont know what went wrong?
How did you go about practising for Sentence Correction ? I guess what is really important on SC is that you really have a clear understanding of not only the concepts but how the concepts are applied. While preparing for my first attempt, I had done SC well, but then also I ended up getting a bad score on Verbal. The reason I figured out was that I understood the concepts superficially and didn't understand them really well . Once I did that during the second attempt , I was really able to nail SC questions. You may wanna refer Aristotle SC Grail, if you find SC to be problematic.I think you will find it helpful.

Hi Deeplakshya,

How were you feeling on test-day? Verbal is the very last thing that you had to do on the test; this is speculation, but if I had to guess what happened just from looking at your scores, I'd say you were overtired and overstressed and just couldn't maintain focus for the last hour.

Does that sound accurate? I hope so, because if it does that's a good sign--such difficulties are easier to address than a fundamental revision of your testing strategies. Make sure that you're taking full-length test, including the essay, to build endurance, make sure to rest and taper off studying in the week leading up to the real test, and try some common stress-relief exercises such as stretching or deep breathing.

I'm guessing a little here, but I hope I'm on the right track. If not, though, let me know if you have any other questions!

I agree with Eli

Most people look at the outer game of GMAT - external factors like prep time, strategies, materials used, prep test scores etc
But, there is a complex inner game of GMAT that takes place within each test taker - internal factors such as the ability to perform under pressure, managing stress levels, maintaining focus etc.

Both the inner game and the outer game contribute towards the over all performance. Therefore, both factors must be evaluated
