I'm writing the GMAT online on my Mac in a couple of days. I've done the system checks, but I'm having trouble installing the secure browser on my Mac. I'm running OS Big Sur 11.4 (latest update). When I download the secure browser installer I get this error message: “ESSecureBrowser” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified. I can't click anything other than "move to trash" or "cancel". I've checked my settings and I've allowed software developed by others. Any idea how to install this browser?
I ran into this problem too - go to YouTube and watch "How to Allow Apps from Anywhere on macOS Big Sur [Tutorial]" posted by MDTechVideos (apparently I can't post links yet on here).
Worked like a charm and now I can see the "Anywhere" button in system preferences. Good luck!
Mac users experience problems to some extent while installing ESSecureBrowser. Did you try to install the browser as provided in the steps by Examity? You see ESSecureBrowser only opens when the test starts. The link might be useful: https://gmatclub.com/forum/gmat-online- ... l#p2737687

Question on how to install Secure Browser: The directions say to enable "Anywhere" under "Allow Apps to be downloaded from". However, on my computer, this option does not exist. I only have the other two options: "Mac App Store" and "Mac App Store and identified developers"
