Hello people,
I would be giving my third attempt at GMAT in Oct 2014. In my last attempt I scored a disappointing 540 (Q36 and V27). This time around I want to somehow improve my score by at least 70-80 points.
In regard to this I would like to know which quant book would help. Currently I am using the OG12, OG13 and material from 4gmat. (About to complete OG12 and start with OG13) A study material which would reflect the GMAT type questions would be preferred. (Wondering if the official quant guide would help or If I should go for Kaplan or
MGMAT guide (somehow I doubt If I’ll able to finish the
MGMAT guide)). I am familiar with the basics but when questions are twisted I get stuck, especially in number properties, inequalities and DS.
For Verbal I would be using the
MGMAT guide for SC and RC. My hit ratio during practice (for verbal) is decent somehow in the exam it doesn’t cross the 30 mark. Any suggestion on how to improve upon this is welcome.
Regards,
Sundar
