Hi I am an engineer, got passionate about teaching during my engineering and decided to pursue teaching as a career. Later after wearing many hats of a product head, business head along with faculty became an entrepreneur in an ongoing franchised center with a 12.5% stake. Now I want to do an MBA in Australia /Canada and after working for few years I want to come back to India and start my own education technology venture.
How should I make it sound logical about the need of a MBA and that too in Australia /Canada and then returning to India for my own venture.

Thanks for your post. It may be difficult to advise fully without a more in-depth resume review or even brainstorming (a process we go through with our clients to really deep-dive into their work and personal life stories, which can greatly help with essay-planning).... BUT overall it seems that your narrative will be something along the lines of finding that passion surrounding education and WHY and what you love about the industry and how you continue to have that passion for it, but that you do lack certain additional business and management training that would help you succeed in your next venture. I am not fully clear on the current venture vs future venture etc so you'd want to ensure you explain fully in your apps. But you can definitely emphasize the need for the MBA by pointing out examples where, in your career to date, you feel that knowledge from an MBA would have benefited you, if that makes sense. If you put together a compelling story, and if your grades were strong and your recommendations and overall apps are strong, I would hope that you'd be considered at Melbourne and/or Ivey.
