I did all I could in last 6 months to improve my verbal score.
Did only veral questions for last 6 months (from OG 10, OG 2020, Verbal Reasoning 2020) and quant, IR, AWA for around 1hr everyday for 20 days before my last attempt yesterday.
Accuracy while solving OG was
Sub-600
SC - 95% CR - 95% RC 90%
600-700
SC - 90% CR 90% RC 80%
700+
SC - 80% CR 85% RC 70%
Score during mocks was 670-710
Quant 47-50
Verbal 32-38
I don't know what to do. How to improve. Feel totally aimless.Can anyone please guide me.It's been 1.5 years I have studied for GMAT from 2 different coaching. I just feel like I am wasting time and resources after looking at my result.
Results are

Hi ar21x,
I'm sorry to hear that Test Day did not go as well as planned. When these types of score drops occur, the two likely "causes" involve either something that was unrealistic during practice or something that was surprising (or not accounted for) on Test Day. Before we discuss any of those potential issues though, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
Studies:
1) Over the last 3 months, how many hours did you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used over the course of ALL of your studies? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
If you took your Official GMAT at a Test Center, then you might also choose to purchase the Enhanced Score Report. While the ESR doesn’t provide a lot of information, there are usually a few data points that we can use to define what went wrong on Test Day (and what you should work on to score higher). If you purchase the ESR, then I'll be happy to analyze it for you.

Hello Sir,
After my first attempt in Feburary. I joined a coaching for Verbal in March end and started practicing from OG 10 then I moved on to OG2022 and Verbal review. I just solved SC,CR and RC not the Quant part.
As I am not a working individual since I passed out in June 2019 I first tried for CAT (An exam for indian Bschools) result came out in jan 2020 it was dishearthening. Joined an institute for GMAT coaching in Jan 2020 perpration stopped because of Corona as classes were suspended for 2-3 months and I was solving their issued material which was not helpful. Fastforward to October 2020 got to know about GMATClub joined and initially started solving questions of the day I received in mail. I was struggling with DS and Verbal and was only confident about PS. First I started with DS after solving many questions I saw I was just missing to consider the fractions, negative numbers and ZERO. By mid-December I confident about Quant. Solved a few quant mocks on gmatclub during christmas and new year sale. And in december I side by side started to do Verbal from OGs and then started mocks from kaplan and mba. com (all 1-6) every alternate day from 21 Jan to 10 Feb. Gave my final attepmt ONLINE with result.

Sorry don't have the data for Kaplan tests for that time. I remember score ranged from 600-640 with similar quant and veral results.
Then reveiced my result on 16 Feb got disheartened didn't studied for a week. then started reading fictional books recommended by bb on a fourm read 4 of them then in March 2021 I came by a coaching on FB GMAT prepration group many students shared thier experience and had a score of 700+. I decided to join for Verbal had 2-2.5 hrs. long class on weekend and I again started doing OG starting from OG10 then moving to OG 2022 and Verbal review 2022
with accuracy mentioned above all the questions I practiced were from gmatclub with timer. side by side wacthed gmat ninja videos on youtube.
Started giving mocks from 10 July 2021 with a mock each day initially.
first from princton review 5 mocks in morning I gave mocks without IR and AWA then in afternoon I reviewed them. At night I used to slove the incorrect questions from error log on gmatclub of SC and CR.
then took break for 2 days stutied IR, AWA practiced some Quant and Verbal
Then I started with I mock everyday with Kaplan
Scores on kaplan mocks just did Quant and verbal not IR and AWA
1 Q-45 V-39 O-680
2 Q-49 V-37 O-700
3 Q-48 V-37 O-690
4 Q-49 V-26 O-620
5 Q-49 V-33 O-670
6 Q-48 V-37 O-690
I manhattan free mock felt quant was pretty tough

Again a disheartening result after 1.5 years and thought right after the result that came to my mind I should stop studying after all the hardwork studying verbal for 6 months I am in same place I was 6 months ago.
answer to your questions.
1) I just did verbal all the time as I am not employed couldn't find job because of corona and there are pretty less jobs in my field in India (Electronis and Communication engineer) and didn't find any interest in coding for IT jobs.
Initially I use to do 3 RC and then about 20-25 SC and CR with going through comments in gmatclub for correct as well as incorrect answers especially for SC.
2) Mocks as mentioned above and material only OGs nothing else.
3) Dates also mentioned above sir.
4) Earlier my goal was just to touch 700. But after looking at my results I feel it's impossible I will be happy to get 650+
5) As I don't have any work experience I was planning to apply in MIF programs in USA and Canda. But now I won't be able to meet Round 1 deadlines. But I feel if I F*ck-up again then what. What about Round 2.
Sorry sir couldn't get you ESR I gave both my attempts online. But now next time I will have to go to center which will be a 3.5-4 hrs drive.
Apart from all this I feel RC is weakest in my Verbal prepration. I never had habit of reading anything and comprehension takes time and when I do my verbal part I feel very anxious and have a performance pressure constantly thinking how I am performing at the back of my head.
