Hello friends,
Recently i gave my gmat and got a very low score of 470. My quant was 31 and verbal was 25. However in my mock that i was giving a while back. i was getting 550 ( quant 43 verbal 23).
I am planning to take my gmat again. May you please suggest me how to take thing forward. Also, i read that a gmat score only increases by 30 points. i need a score of 640 +.
May yo help me with the same. ( plan / material/ question bank.) I have kaplan premier with me.

It is not true that the GMAT score only increases by 30 points. There are several debriefs right here on gmatclub to illustrate the same - like these ones:

Make sure you go through your material completely and are strong in the basics and make sure to take a few mock tests before sitting for the actual GMAT. There are several free resources on gmatclub (the navigation bar on the top left is a good place to start). Self prep is more often than not sufficient for the GMAT.

It looks like your score was a good amount lower than your mock score - and you'll need a lot of improvement to reach your target score. Since this is a retake, I'd recommend creating a plan and looking at your schedule and figuring out when you can fit in time to study. You want to make sure you allocate 2-3 hours per day on weekdays. Increased familiarity should help your score go up a bit -- but even more is if you critically understand why each answer choice is correct or incorrect.
