Hi vansh789,
Many GMATers face pacing issues in the Quant section, the Verbal section or both – so you are not alone. However, it's important to remember that pacing problems do NOT exist on their own - they're the results of OTHER problems. Most GMAT questions can be approached in more than one way, meaning that since you have to guess on so many questions in the Verbal section, "your way" might be the "long way" (and you might also have developed some 'bad habits' during your studies that are leading to inefficient choices when you deal with Verbal questions).
Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
If you scored 700 (or higher) on just this most recent CAT - and you will continue to study (and retest) until you score 740 - then you might want to consider pushing back your current Test Date.
GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
